Body Focus Spa offers a plethora of aesthetic procedures, one of which is breast enhancement surgery. This popular procedure comes along with a fair amount of choices, all with the end goal of helping patients get the results they desire. Many patients are interested in getting saline breast implants.
Saline breast implants have a number of benefits over silicone implants. One such benefit is that saline implants are inserted unfilled into the body. Silicone implants must be pre-filled, so their size outside of the body is what it will be inside the body. With saline implants, on the other hand, plastic surgeons can make adjustments to size during the breast enhancement procedure if needed.
There are numerous factors to take into account when deciding between silicone and saline breast implants for breast enhancement surgery, and the best way to find out more is with a consultation. Contact our office to arrange an appointment, and you’ll be able to speak with cosmetic surgeon Dr. Steve Ahmed.

Breast augmentation surgery adds volume to the breasts, enlarging them by at least one cup size. One potential side effect of this is that the areolae will grow larger. In order to correct this, areola reduction may be necessary.
Areola reduction can be performed during a breast augmentation. During an areola reduction, an incision is created around the areola, followed by another smaller circle inside; this second circle is used to mark the planned new border of the areola. With this smaller circle, the surgeon will make sure to remain outside of the nipple area.
There are many potential incision sites when it comes to breast augmentation, so this may vary depending on the patient’s needs and goals. To discuss your aesthetic goals with a plastic surgeon, contact our office to set up a consultation. Dr. Steve Ahmed, a board-certified plastic surgeon, will set up a surgical plan and help you better understand the procedure.
